More work is in progress as we see Tom Hinkle on the tractor smoothing out the area around the depot after proper drainage work has been done.  Also, a post has been erected in preparation of our historical marker sign to be dedicated next month.  The sign is beautiful and I will post a picture of it at that time.

The dove shoot was a huge success!  Around $2,000 was raised for the Depot

I'm happy to report that work is progressing on the depot today.  Bruce, our contractor, has cleaned out the old deck materials and constructed the forms for the concrete footings under the building.  He is also working on our drainage problem around the depot so water will flow out from under the structure to the drainage ditch.  This has been a problem for a very long time.  Thanks to Mary Davis for the photos and it looks like Tommy Davis is helping out with his tractor.  This is very exciting for all of us who have worked for a few years to raise funds and finally see some progress.  Please continue to support us.  There are many ways to do so.  Please see our "Donate" page for more information.  Stay tuned for further progress.
